Hi guys, I have a member on this forum who said that he'll keep me posted when his plant makes a offshoot. But, I really want to know where are people getting this plant from? I can't find it anywhere locally. Also if anyone has an extra for sale...we can work something out. thanks, V

Hey Vraev, I got my B. Reducta from Michael Szesze of Carnivorous plant nursery in the Maryland state near Washington. I placed an order with him but he cancelled in the end. Too much paper work. So i went to pick up my order myself. I know Wistuba has some. I will order from him in the spring and i can take 1 for you and then ship it, if you want . I will tell you how much. let me know. or i'll send a offshoot. Still have H. Nutans ?

Yeah Labine! For sure! Our trade is still a go. I was just wondering where people are getting it from. I looked at the only 2 CP nursaries in canada and neither has it.

To get it means having to order out of the country. Cz and Wistuba both carry it. Neither of my two species of it have pupped yet.

Just checked where mine came from. Same place. CPN. I did a couple of orders in 2007 with them. Mostly vft clones, but also was able to get the Brocchinia and a Hummer's Giant. Now I heard he doesn't ship to Canada. That's unfortunate because Michael has a fantastic vft selection to offer..

Hey DVG, I had the chance to meet Michael and he is a nice guy and he has a really nice greenhouse. It's a shame that he dont ship to ca. anymore. i got VFT Crossteeth, many Sarracenias, Bromeliad Reducta, H. Heterodoxa, P. Moictezumae (gone), C. Hummer's Giant,Czech Giant from him. He showed me 1 of his VFT flowering with a baby growing at the end of the flower stalk (Nice).

Thanks HB. I might try the seed offer. Personally though..I prefer plants themselves as growing from seed takes a lot of time. Thanks for the info Labine..... what does CPN stand for though? I never heard of it. Is there a link? Does he sell seed of those VFT variety? As far as I knew I thought CPN stood for "Carnivorous plant network"

I would love to visit a greenhouse/nursery devoted to CP's. You must have felt like a kid in a candy store. Especially with all of his amazing vft cultivars. It looks like you were able to get some nice plants from Michael, while the going was good. Any ideas where you are going to order from this coming summer?
