HI all...
it's been awhile since I've been on OCPS. My redeye babies are quite large now. The largest at about 2.2 inches in length. A number of them were loss when they kept eating in the peat moss dirt while consuming crickets. Bummer.
Darn frogs are now eating at a rate of $60/ week in crickets. Oh well... at least they give me great joy ! ;D

Nice to see you around David, too bad for the other baby Red eyes that didn't make it. How many do you have left? They look so adorable. Any updated pics?

I used to breed my own crickets so I had a constant supply of pinheads. If you want to try it and need any tips, let me know.

That'd be great Hal... send me your crix raising secrets And if there are any folks on the westcoast who want a few young red eye treefrogs, I've been trading them away for bugs, plants and dollars... I'd like to find some new homes for these little fellows

My little redeyes are growing fat and plump!
Gawd, I love these cute little buggers! Now that most of the red eyes are well on their way to becoming grownups, my chubby white's treefrogs are croaking away... and I'll be placing them in the rain chamber to see if they'd like to start up a new family ;D

Hi everyone....
It's been almost 3 months since I last visited ocps... sorry, I've been reallllly busy. I've decided to get back to life, and put my retirement plans on hold. So I've been busy running about... helping restructure a business.
My baby red eye treefrogs are now over 1.5" in size, and are just as handsome as their parents. Some of them are even getting into a mating mood. Yikes.
Anyways, wish you all well, and please keep in touch!
David

Hi D,
Great to see you here again. Keep us in the loop mate. How are things going? Hows everything with the plants? Are the neps still hanging in there? Hows those plans for a solarium coming along?
cheers,
V

It's been awhile since I've updated you all on my baby Redeye treefrogs. They're really plump and happy little guys. I'm only down to about 10 ... as I gave most of the rest away. The babies are now around 1.5+ inches and are all starting to sing. i've even seen a few of them in the mating positions, so I guess they're ready to start the next generation. Here's some photos i took of them and my other frogs last year: www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=98236&id=681379497&l=72e872f97f

Happy new year everyone!
I've added a few turtles to share my studio space with my frogs. I'll upload some photos later. I've got the usual red ear sliders (who keep laying eggs all summer long... but I regretably I must destroy the eggs, as there are far too many unwanted sliders over here), some Reeve's turtles and some musk turtles.

It's been a few years since I had written about my red eye treefrog babies... well, it's now 2013, and these babies have grown up and laid eggs. I had 5 clusters of eggs last month. I only followed through with one cluster hatching, and now they're tadpoles eating up everything in sight!

Hi everyone! It's been over a year since I've checked into OCPS.
My frogs are keeping well and healthy, with my red eye treefrogs now into its 4th generation here. I'll be fixing up my CP bog in a few weeks, and will post photos.
best, David
