Here we can list CP merchants. List the good and the bad, we all need to know about the bad ones in particular! As for personal collections that have the occasional plant forsale, keep that in the general trades. We are looking for nurseries in particular. Sib

Just as an FYI, I have also puchased from Cook's Carnivores and I had two problems. I had to purchase a $40 (US) CITES certificate which meant that the order was delayed about 6 weeks, due to acquiring said certificate. Once my order was shipped it was intercepted by customs (1 in a 1000 chance) and kept for 11 days. 4 of my 12 plants were dead upon delivery. Rareexotics is a fantastic company with plenty of seeds ***** highly reccomended here. As well CPCAN hosts a plantlist for the company MANTIS. Mainly pings and drosera but extremely affordable. mabudon seems to have gotten great results working with them. There site is: www.vaxxine.com/cpcan/plants.htmZac

I must give a huge warning agains Cooks flytraps!!!! He is scamming me! I made an order, laid it out in e-mail, told him where I was and asked for a total. He gave me a total and I sent it to him, he got it, then said he forgot to add something. I never recieved anything so I e-mailed him several times and got no replies. I just wanted my money back at this point, finnally used the message thing on his page, which I think his wife handles, she said she would mail it out to me, I still haven't gotten it! Andre has also had problems, not to my extent, but My word on him is that he is a cheat and to vear clear of him!! Sib

After previously ordering from www.Hawaiianbotanicals.com twice, I stopped by for a visit while in Vancouver in October. I recommend them VERY highly. They have a huge selection of very nice large mature plants, (especially the S. leuko and S. alata) and the lady that runs the CP part of the operation is super nice. The best part was being able to "cherry pick" and get some of their biggest 3 foot plus Sarr's. Can't wait 'til spring.

I have bought twice from an e-bay seller in BC, Boer Green Exotic Plants. Their e-bay store seems to be closed now. They sold mainly orchids but had about 10 different Nepenthes species. I only have good comments despite negative feedback I found on this link: davesgarden.com/gwd/c/4196Maybe they have opened their own independent e-store. If anyone finds out what happened, please updated me. Martin

bubblebrain, When I ordered, i got a few ultrics(afterwards I found out that they have low viability), but I got nep seeds(high germination), got a couple of vigorous plants out of regia seeds, and all the others were mixed results. I'll tell you something else though, I recently did a trade with triffid nurseries in the uk (although he mainly sells), and the quantity and germination rates were very good. Also did I mention OCPS members get 10% off? Sib

I got some drosera and pinguicula seeds with about 75% germination. Syble that is good news... do you have an ETA for when we can actually join the OCPS again.

I have been in contact with this fellow for several months now, he is out west in BC and has finally got his site/store up and running www.keehnscarnivores.comHe has a pretty small selection and the Neps seem kind aexpensive, but there's a few gems in there too, he is pretty good for communication and I would imagine he is good to deal with, I plan on ordering a D.adelae as soon as funds permit and I will post feedback then, unless someon else beats me to it
