I guess you mean that sort of patchy white fluffiness on the stalks. It doesn't look solid enough to be mealybug more like a superficial growth of some kind. Hard to tell really. Off hand it doesn't look terrible. Keep an eye on it. If possible look at it under some sort of magnification.

I know what you mean by fuzz...but that looks like pretty nice and new growth there. The best thing to do for now is wait....see how the plant goes. If it keeps going down then you might have to take drastic measures. If it keeps growing...then maybe it wasn't anything too serious.

lol so today with lil air circulation, the white fuzz has considerably doubled im a bit concerned
there still growing actually another one of the inital cuttings is growing pitchers and is begining 2 loose color, which leaves me 2 believe that is has succesfully rooted and now is ready 2 start making its own traps, BUT the mildew is much more noticable sooo iv used safer's defender for the first time, also i mixed it in my mist bottle which i use 4 all plants, could this harm some of the other plants?? i mixed it very diluted
ill do the growlist i guess uuuuugh

Here are my cephs; The larger one The largest pitcher Opposite sides The littlest plant The two together The larger plant was about the size of a half dollar, when I got it in May 07. It had like 3 pitchers about half an inch long. It got all shocky and lost all of its pitchers, but it is recovering nicely. The smaller one was about the size of a nickel. The larger one is in lfs,(all chopped up) and perlite, about 1 to 1, topped off with some shredded up lfs. The smaller one is in peat /perlite 1 to 1, layer of peat on top. I water them when the pot feels "lighter" than usual. wides ps- please dont mock my containers.... pss- lordy curlingguy those are fat beauties you have there.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I have to say that these cephs are my favorite plants.
v- I remeber that your plant was struggling, and then it settled down and you dosed it with Trich, right? Hows that working out?

not sure yet. People on other boards say its still infected with mildew and that I should get a fungicide for it. The plant is still loosing pitchers prematurely. (2 months only. )

The last pics I could find were around Halloween? The new growth looked alright in those pics. Just the older growth still struggling. But what the hell do I know I've only had mine 6 months or so. That media is super chunky, it will be interesting to see how it works out.

I left the camera at home as my parents wanted it. So I don't really have pics. But well...I hope that this one cracks out of the bad period and thrives for me.
