So I had an African violet that I bought from Walmart. It wasn't doing very well when I bought it. The flowers were all dried up and many of the leaves were dead. It recovered but was growing very slow and no flowers for the better part of a year. So I put it under a 60 watt equivalent 6500k cfl bulb 16 hour photoperiod and a few weeks later growth has sped up and it is loaded with buds!   |

Not bad  Violets is a low-mid light plant that's easier to please, one of my mom's favorite plants. I have one under LEDs right now and the flowers are coming up  |

Light purple I think. Solid color
I have another one dark purple, solid color
and a purple edge with white center
