The seed grown jamban x ? Is niccce. The one I had carried a much thinner lid. I'm wondering if it is a hybrid. It definitely reminds me of N. jamban. I have seen jamban seedlings that have a similarly sized lid, especially as seedlings (these plants are still tiny). I guess I'll just wait and see. It would be great if it was a pure species. I love the pings on lava rock. I'm going to try that. Yes, I look forward to them settling in. We'll see how it goes! Really nice plants, and the pots are interesting. Looks like you've pierced regular pots with a soldering iron to make net pots. I have never been that interested in Utrics, but maiden sent me a few and they are growing on me. That is exactly what I did. They are just very thin seedling pots, but they do the trick. I like Utricularia- I have quite a few species that I just planted in the moss growing at the bottom of my terrarium. We'll see how they do! Those are some great looking plants Avery. I feel the thing about heat. My macrophylla has stopped growing and is looking stressed due to heat. Yes, it's the ongoing challenge of many growers. They'll struggle through, I'm sure. Thanks everyone!!

Looking great Avery! Thanks for sharing and documenting both the plants that are thriving and those that have hit a snag. It's really helpful to see what works for different growers. This time around I'm really digging the N. jamban(?) seedlings and the little villosa. If by any chance your jacquelineae doesn't make it, I grow the same clone (BE-3093) and could send you a cutting once mine puts on a little more size

Hello all, I thought that I would share an update as everything has been growing very nicely lately. The heat took a toll this summer, but so far no casualties, only setbacks. I've increased ventilation and airflow by adding another fan (blowing at the orchids) and cutting another 3 1/2" round hole in the top. Temperatures have been good lately, around 20-24C days and 8-12C nights. Cephalotus follicularisVarious Pinguicula on lava rock Nepenthes aristolochioidesNepenthes tenuisNepenthes villosa (Mount Tambuyukon) And they're not in my terrarium, but here are some Lithops that have germinated for me:

Looking great Avery!
Is that the Wistuba N. aristolochioides?
Nice to see your villosa putting out new growth, I recently took the plunge as well.

I got it in a trade a few months ago. It's a SG plant from 1850m on Mt. Tambuyukon, it was originally germinated by Jeremiah Harris in the States.
I was surpised to see yours is from Tambuyukon too, as I thought that WIstuba only sold a clone from Mt. Kinabalu.

Yeah, that's who I got mine from. I also have the Wistuba clone but it's proving to be more sensitive than the Tambuyukon seedling.

Nice! I think we really lucked out with these SG villosa's, they seem to be much hardier than the clones available from the Wistuba, BE, etc. Keep us updated it would be sweet if we ended up with a male and female a few years down the line

Hey everyone, Just thought I'd give an update on a few of my plants. I just bought a new terrarium, so I'm looking forward to setting it up. I'll have a bit more room with it, but it'll still be a cramped mess to some degree. Haha. Unknown Nepenthes I grew from seed: Nepenthes dubia growing well: Mushrooms popping up everywhere... Nepenthes aristolochioides: Some flowering Pinguicula: Unknown seed grown Nepenthes: Nepenthes inermis: First pitcher for me on this Nepenthes villosa: All gums, no teeth yet... Drosera prolifera (Thanks Sokkos!): Unknown seed grown Nepenthes:

Beautiful pictures of some awesome plants. I love those first overall shot, like a mini landscape of Nepenthes.
