This rare and very small Mexican Pinguicula species is starting to color up well under the lights. A few springtail/bloodworm feedings have helped it to put on some size in the last couple of months. Looking forward to seeing how this one matures. dvg

Very nice dvg. Looks very similar to an ehlersiae locale but can't remember the exact location and bcp's website seems to be down.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Here is another update on this mexi-ping, currently sending out some additional roots. This one is quite unlike any other Pinguicula specimen in my collection. dvg

I'll repeat myself but it is a really nice plant. The color and form is great. I assume it has not flowered yet ?

Hi Doug - That's a gorgeous plant!!! Are you growing it on its native asbestos soil?

I really love the wavy leaves! Very interesting indeed. . .
I also like the top dressing. It looks nice as always.

Thanks for the comments guys! Shoggs, no it hasn't flowered in my care yet. Hahaha, Apo! In fact, i'm not even sure that this plant is in any way connected to asbestos, other than in locale name. dvg
