Thanks Vinny. Here's one of the S. leucophylla (Gulf Breeze, FL) received from cpgeek. The plant is finally pitchering! The photo makes this pitcher look big, but it's actually less than an inch across at the top.

Some of my plants were in need of a top watering today, (black build up on crowns) so I set them outside during the rain today. I noticed that black disappearing from the new growth in a matter of minutes, and after a half hour, it was all gone! Anyway, after the rain, I took some shots of the nicer looking plants. From worst to best: D. x obovata 'Ivan's Paddle" D. x "Watari" D. anglica. This is a seed grown California x Hawaii form, but it seems to have taken on most of the Hawaiian traits, as it is pretty small. Different lighting:

For the first time this (hot, dry) summer, my potbogs are almost full to the top, + I filled up a Home Hardware pail with rainwater (TDS 17 PPM). It's going to be cold tonight, in Toronto anyway. I took my cacti in for the night.

I took my cacti in for the night. Same here. We had a crazy rainstorm. I woke up to all of my bins flooding, and I had to drill new holes before the water levels went even higher above the pots. Haha. Too bad it wasn't this rainy during the summer. . .

As usual, annoyingly lovely pics Devon. Glad to see the leuco is coming into form. My largest clone is displaying its fall pitchers in full glory.

Thanks Rob. Any pics of your leucs? I tried light painting on one of my Drosera, and it turned out well after 20 minutes of "practice" pics. I used a 15 second exposure, remote shutter, and a tripod of course. I took the photo outside at night time for the blackest background. During the 15 second exposure, I shone a flash light at all of the angles I could on the plant to get an even lighting and sort of a glow look. I plan on doing many more shots like this, but perhaps with more interesting angles and such. Thanks for looking!
