Here are some pics of the VFT forms I obtained from Cooks early this year. A few of them appear to be getting ready for dormancy. I may be wrong, but I think that as they run out of gas, they don't produce as much colouration as they do when growing vigorously.
Sorry about the appearance of some of them... they need a bit of a trim, but I haven't had time to attend to it yet.
'Big Mouth'
'Big Vigorous'
'Clayton's Red Sunset' (not as happy as it could be)
'Dentate' (Vraev's Favourite)
'Dutch'
'Fang'
'Green Dragon' (just getting established)
'Long Red Fingers' - I think that this is more of a cup trap variety
'Low Giant' (it's not polite to eat with your mouth full)
'Pink Venus'
'Red Dragon' (just getting established)
'Yellow'
And a couple that I got from Vraev this spring:
'B52'
'Typical'
I'm hoping to make leaf propagations this fall before I put them down and make them available to members here and hopefully same them from going through the fiasco that Syble and I did when dealing with the delays and beaurocracy.
I'm still surprised that anything lived.
