Here are some pics of the VFT forms I obtained from Cooks early this year. A few of them appear to be getting ready for dormancy. I may be wrong, but I think that as they run out of gas, they don't produce as much colouration as they do when growing vigorously. Sorry about the appearance of some of them... they need a bit of a trim, but I haven't had time to attend to it yet. 'Big Mouth' 'Big Vigorous' 'Clayton's Red Sunset' (not as happy as it could be) 'Dentate' (Vraev's Favourite) 'Dutch' 'Fang' 'Green Dragon' (just getting established) 'Long Red Fingers' - I think that this is more of a cup trap variety 'Low Giant' (it's not polite to eat with your mouth full) 'Pink Venus' 'Red Dragon' (just getting established) 'Yellow' And a couple that I got from Vraev this spring: 'B52' 'Typical' I'm hoping to make leaf propagations this fall before I put them down and make them available to members here and hopefully same them from going through the fiasco that Syble and I did when dealing with the delays and beaurocracy. I'm still surprised that anything lived. >>> Rick <<<

ha ha ha ! very funny Rick. Dentate my favourite. Its like saying english is my favourite course. lol OH MY GOD! wow... I hardly recognise the b52 and typical I gave u. They look absolutely stellar. HOLY god! and just all the others as well. Alright Rick. Spill it. I need to know now. lol! (jkng ) tell me the peat brand and what else you use in the media. all brand names, the place u get them and the pot sizes u use. lol! all my VFT's are crashing whereas the ones I gave to others are doing freaking awsome....meaning something is very bad in my thing. I don't think its the peat...It may be the perlite. BTW...do u use a wad of sphagnum in the bottom of the pot to cover up the drain holes??

I love that dutch and pink dragon. Just soo intricate cilia. Same with the fang one. I just love how the rosettes are nice and compact. beautiful! ;D
Hmm...I don't know why the cilia on my big plants just DRIES off at the tips and it becomes like bent hairs. something is pretty wrong here.
