hey all, just thought id let everyone know that since my VFTs have been outside.. they've been eating tons!!! in fact.. the B-52s growth has become so rapid that i find its closing all its traps, and the next day there are open traps again!! (either from ones that finished digesting or new traps that open up!!) just thought id let everyone know that we arent the only ones lovin the weather!! *EQL*

i believe that you can over feed VFT's so just try n lay off a bit you!! umm with my VFT i try to feed the same traps over and over until trap dies so that the newest traps can fully open and gets lots of color, also they are the most beautiful lookin so i try to leave them and allow them to build up i find my red dragon will eat a same size bug twice as fast as a B52, openin up much more suddenly
once a trap has been used it never has the same appearance as it did when it was brand new yaknow?? i fed mine 2 fat daddys and i large worker bee and i know have a flower stalk and 2 extra plants and that was the last time i fed them all traps are beginin to open and will be fully open in a couple of days 2 make for a good pic

well...the interesting thing is that .. I noticed "OVERFEedING" only in "Inside-house" grown plants. For plants growing nicely in the full sun...I don't think there is any way to overfeed. Vfts take care of themselves pretty much. Have fun.

Don't you just love these greedy little fellers? Oh, the VFTs... how can you get mad at them? With their greedy little mouths smiling and gaping at you ... reminds me of chubby little kids at the candy store with mouths all stuffed up with all sorts of candies... Yup. The more you think about them, the more the VFTs remind you of us

I must admit, thats the one plant in the bog that I don't even really fiddle with. No need to feed them because it seams like everyother day a trap is closed anyways... I almost don't get to see any trap colouring because they are always shut and feeding. My red rosetted is growing like mad, and has traps upwards of aninch and a half, inside of the traps are supposed to be red, but they're never open enough to fully colour up. anyone notice a particular preference for some VFT? I know my dentes in particular catch a large amount of daddy long legs! although my B52 just took care of a rather large and somewhat agressive wolf spider for me the other night, so it's particularlly high im my books right now hehe! beautful my B52 is makin me very happy, a wolf spider though?? mine arent so outdoors as some of yours but its kinda inbetween and it does catch a fair amount of bugs but they ussually arent very big in size which i see as a waste of energy?? ir is this crazy talk
i fell asleep with spider couple of nights ago and my arm is ridlled with welts, i got him back though lmao
iv got a large wolfspider outside of a nother window which is so big i dont think that it would actully fit in any of the traps?? my B52 catches many daddys and even though legs stick out of traps they dont rot like many other spiders thus ruining the trap

well wolf spiders apparently can curl up pretty good cause what tends to hapen is their boddie gets caught first, legs out like the dady, but they wriggle and move round till their legs are in for what ever reason :S I find I have alot of "critters" living in my bog. there's a kind of gnat thats always on the surface, and also some kinda small beetle. I've noticed recently that mu pings are covered in whitfly carcus, but can't actually find a plant infested??? Sib (btw we have earwigs here too)

I sooo want earwigs. They seem to be the perfect food for all our plants. You name it VFT's, neps, sarrs, cephs ... everything. Too bad they don't sell small ones at a pet store

Come to my yard if you want earwigs. I'll put a plate upside down and you can have all you want.
