From what I know, VFT's don't self fertilize. Hence, you either need to fertilize them artificially or fertilize it with pollen from another VFT. Basically, if u self fertilize, there are CHANCES of getting akai ryu seeds. However, I am not entirely sure.

I already fertilizate the flowers, now I wait for the seeds! It is true that if you plant the seeds directly after I collected them, I don't need stratification? Thanks vraev! thanks everybody!

No strat, plant 'em as soon as they are ready- don't rush the "pods" though, the seeds must be "ready" before you try to get them out
As for what you'll get from them, you'll have to wait and see- cultivars generally can only be reproduced "perfectly" by vegetative means. Seeds will have the same kind of punnet-square (Spelling?) results as any other hybridization or cross-pollination
That is, some of them will look pretty much like Red Dragons, but there will be variation throughout the seedlings, and calling any of them "Akai Ryu" would not be "proper"
Hope that helps

basically the punnet square cannot be applied as we are unsure if the genes responsible for the various traits are linked or not. But, still, you probably may notice a couple or more akai ryus in those seeds. Keep us posted. If you do end up wtih nice red ryus .. I will get a few from ya. Ohh yeah! I found germination is better without stratification.

If you get any extra seeds, I'd like some.
