hey, while taking a picture today, i noticed a couple little TINY brown bugs... about 1mm wide by 2mm long. they look either like mini-pill bugs... im not sure if they have a shell. I can't tell if the fly or hop. Are they going to cause me problems? thanks *EQL*

If you go near them with a pencil or something, do they jump up in the air? They could be springtails. I don't think they're harmful (they eat decaying plant matter), and they make good food for low-slung rosetted sundews, especially younger ones.

With such description, its hard to have a sure Id on what they can be. It might be springtails, which are harmless to your plants. As for pillbugs, even though they are rather disgusting, they aren't much of a problem for the plants IMO.

Yep, your description doesn't sound like ANY of the really nasty little guys, so unless there are HORDES of them then you have no worries. Sounds like your plant is growin its own food

unfortunately, they are too small for VFT food.. they just crawl out between the edges... too bad tho.. it would be convenient!! *EQL*
