The key here is "accepting offers"... For a fairly small community, we have a LOT of extremely generous folks up here. From what I ecall, I have sent something to just about everyone here, some for trades but most for nothing- 50 cents for a stamp and I can send as much seed as I like, a little more for a bubble envelope and I can send plants for next to nothing...

That's kind of how this whole "place" works- most of us really enjoy getting "new" species and stuff into the hands of other collectors. If Lloyd offers the plants to you (plasmashock) then all that is behind it is Lloyd wanting to help you out- there's NO "now you OWE me" , just a "I have some of what you want and am willing to share it just like other folks shared stuff with me".

EVERYTHING in my colection I got from somebody, somehows, either from the mail as seeds, plants, meeting folks in person, trading cuttings, gifts (some SWEET ones outta nowhere) you name it

That being said, if your parents have certain rules, you DO have to honour them, of course, but if there's any sort of explaining that would help, I'd be glad to take a crack at doing so- for recieving stuff, you don't really even need to use your ful name, just a first name will do, no-one here is out to do anyone any harm... and also on that note, the really "prolific" members all have a sort of vested interest in keeping as many folks here as possible- we can't afford to lose even one member if we can help it, and no-one would do anything to jeopardize this, ESPECIALLY folks who actualy step up and flat-out offer plants to folks, that reallys is generousity at work, something you don't see enough if in this world in my view...

RIGHT so in closing, fear not, and above all you DO have to follow your parents rules, but hopefully some of what I've posted here will help you out a bit, and if there's naything can be done by me of the other mods to help clarify it for anyone, don't hesitate to ask!
