if u check the humbot.edu page for dionaea photos....there are some dentate which have short teeth than the typical....other dentate are more like the shark jaws which we normally see. These are the 2 I have always seein in colsanti plants. I have never ever seen the normal long teeth typical or any other variety for that matter.

yeah same here. both of mine are like taht as well. However I have seen the second a few places as well. I hope the ones I brought out of dormancy wake up....I hope its not dying ....its bad if I can't dormant my dear VFT's

hopefully the typical comes out...it is a 1 yr old plant in soil when I got it...so technically it should be better than the one in my terrarium once it takes off. *Fingers crossed*

Hi Plasmashock & other beginners: I have some VFT's in dormancy in the fridge. I'm ready to let them go to a good home. They are "ordinary" and dentate from Loblaws. If you want them, let me know. They are good beginner plants.

Its hard to accept the many offers I am getting lol. Plus I dont think I am allowed to accept stuff online or stuff like that. Ill ask my parents and see what they say.
