Update with my VFT's

Hi guys,

Here is an update via crappy 0.3 mp camera on my cell phone.

the whole situation is explained in the images.

Nutshell: Al foil helps especially in low light situations.

Now the leaves should be more healthier according to the VFT gurus out here. What do u guys think??

How do u guys think my plants are doing?? good?? will they live fine as long as I keep doing what I am now??

so what do u think ?? good for the VFT's??? I had on OTT-lite till now. I am now using both on top. am I in-line for red traps??

Don't know if you'll get red traps, but I have seen colour in many plants that were supposedly not getting "enough" light, seems to be real variable depending on a bunch of other stuff (I know, that scientific speak really throws folks off, eh??)

As you've stated, you've pretty much done everything within your power to makes this work, and I think that you should be okay with this for now

None of your plants look like they're in any sort of "Danger", and you have been mucking about with them quite a bit, now that they're settled in a bit they should just sit there and do what they do best!
And the fact that you've sucessfully fed them is a good sign, too, I would say you should be good to go from here on out- and as you know, if trouble starts cropping up, post your concerns here and I have no doubt that someone will have some kind of helpful advice for you.

Thanx for the kind words carl. I actually thought I will not bother with the light anymore...but suddenly I just bought this new lamp which has all the stats the VFT needs. Obviously itwould appreciate more than 1 of those bulbs...but...I would be in big trouble if my parents know

I think you're doing a good job. My Loblaws VFT's are about 3 or 4 years old and look terrible. I'm going to give up on them when (if?) my VFT seeds start coming up. Just leave them alone in the set-up you have and you should be fine.

Just today I put 2 VFTs to sleep. The walmart Dentate and the green dragon. removed them.....washed them with water....wrappped with damp sphagnum and put them in a bag and put them in my fridge.

Now I gotta see if they survive.
