That's a splendid bladderwort flower Cole. It looks like it has some serious size to it... ...gotta love big showy flowers that visit frequently. dvg

Pretty Utricularia flowers that exceed two inches in diameter are just what the doctor ordered for our short December days.
How long do the flowers last and does this hybrid form an underground rhizome/tuber?

I've really come to appreciate the flowers of P. hemiepiphytica, sadly their colour is difficult to capture in a picture, it's an incredibly vivid magenta up close!

That's a beautiful flower.
Those P. hemiepiphytica flowers do have a shimmery irridescence that is easily picked up with the eye...
...but sadly not with the camera lens.

One of my all-time favourites, N. ramispina "Genting Highlands"! I'm hoping to get some cuttings off of my plants very soon!

Thanks!
Congratulations Lloyd, you've made the 90,000th post!
(In lieu of balloons, a bunch of ampullaria pitchers fall from the ceiling)

Nice work on your ramispina .
The contrast between the black and light green is striking.

I had to set up a couple new Heli tanks, some plants were getting a bit cramped in their old enclosures. My ionasi "Ilu Tepui" has thanked me with a few new growth points!

Hard to tell from that pic, but that flower looks to be quite large.
Do you have a diameter measurement for that bad boy?
