Hello everyone, It is the time for planting tuberous sundew! This year I have a bunch of tubers to plant and I will be updating this thread as they grow. I am using 1 part of peat and 3 part of perlite for the soil mix, and 1 inch of epoxy glazed white gravels. In the photos, the square grid is 6mm x 6mm for size references. Drosera stolonifera Drosera aberrans Drosera auriculata (Brisbane Ranges, Aus) Drosera auriculata 'Compact, Sub-alpine form' (Grampians, Vic) Drosera macrantha ssp. macrantha Drosera gigantea Drosera porrecta Drosera peltata (Saijo-cho, Higashihiroshima, Japan) Drosera tubaestylis 'Type' (Harvey, WA) Drosera bicolor Drosera menziesii ssp. menziesii Drosera peltata (Chookarloo, Kuitpo Forest, SA) Drosera peltata (Madden, WA, Aus) And the potted ones here The white gravels look really nice but quite expensive. Hope to see them grow well soon! Willy

Tubers are the best! Hope they grow well for you. I just received a big shipment myself (this is only half of them!) I didn't think to take pictures of my tubers before I planted them, I'll have to do that in the future. Tuberous sundew shelf by Nimbulan, on Flickr

It won't be long for me. One of my D. aberrans tubers had an inch of growth on it when I received it so it's very close to breaking the surface, as does one whittakeri (I think) and one of my D. zigzagia tubers from last year. I already have some of last year's D. pauciflora seedlings emerging, though those aren't exactly tuberous.
