My poor little Nepenthes was attacked by my cat last week. I found the plant unearthed, chewed and left to die on my kitchen floor. Needless to say I am still mad at her. I was sure that it was going to die, but I still made every attempt to save it. I soaked its very dry roots in a glass of water, prepared new media and potted it in a shady spot in my kitchen. I'm happy to say that this little fighter is making a comeback and I think it's going to recover I will post pics in this thread to show it's progress over time.

You should cook a cat soup. Or breed a Nepenthes with pitchers so big you could throw your cat in lololol. Just kiding. I'm glad your Nep is such a fighter and that it's coming back to life nicely. Keep us informed and good luck to you.

I feel yah. I had a nice In Flames flag back in the days and had a cat in the appartment. He put his claws on the flag in front of me. I went crazy. From that day on, I hated cat. I still don't like them.

I love cats but they can be jerks sometimes. She usually leaves my houseplants alone but for some reason, 6 of my plants looked extra delicious that night. Luckily only one of my cps was targeted.

One week later. I cut off all the dead pitchers. The plant looks brighter and perkier. There is hope for this one.
