Do you guys place anything at the bottom of your pots to stop the peat/sand/perlite from running out of the holes?

I used to do paper towel since I was a newbie and didnt have LFS and hated how peat spilled into my water container. degrades pretty fast but it was all I had

Good idea and by the time it digrades the soil will be compact and no need to worry about it

I use fine mosquito netting from a fabric store I think it is nylon so it won’t rot fast.

Lately I've been using fibrous landscaping fabric (not the black stuff) which seems to work well.
