I purchased this Nep today and I just can't contain my excitement It is easily 10x bigger than any of my other CPs! The label didn't have much info so I am not sure what kind it is, but I think it looks like Ventrata

You can put it outside where it will get dappled sunlight.

Thank you! I was in Toronto for Canada Day weekend so I had to take a trip out to Humber Nurseries to pick up a few CPs. What an amazing place!
I wish we had something like that in Ottawa!

What else did they have there? Didn't know a place relatively close would have anything.

When I went, it was mostly sarracenias (in their aquatics section) and no specimens quite as nice as what Samatha found! I took a few pics you can have a look at here: ocps.proboards.com/thread/8869/any-cp-retailers-ontarioI forgot to add pics of the drosera they had, but mostly they were those pre-packaged VFTs and sundews in the plastic domes. The ones they had when I was there weren't in the best of shape, but I'm sure they restock with healthy ones often. Let us know what you find!

Here's a picture of the sundew and vfts they had Whoa! Much better selection than when I went! Maybe weekends are the time to go! What are the plants in the cylinders with the whitish rings on top?

atom - They were also VFTs, they looked the same as the ones in the domes... old stock maybe?

Thanks for the responses. I may have to make a trip there and pick up a Ventrata. I have quite a few neps but they're all still babies. I want at least one big one !

It's a great place to visit even for regular plants... they have so many nice tropical plants that you don't see at places like Rona/ Home depot. I could spend all day there if I had the chance
