Been a while since I've been on the forum, maybe it was good thing but who knows. Well to start this off I would like to say How I stopped coming online to the forum.
A while back I got a Dog (shiba inu) Shes amazing and so much fun to have. Sadly she got into my bog where I had all my carnivorous plants and after a day of me being away for school she had uprooted all? my plants and misplaced them all over the yard. Sadly even my purp was not saved. Well i tried to save what I could and while I though that I had; they all died to root rot (they were chewed up beforehand). my purp was the last one to die and I got depressed so I didn't come back online and quit CP growing.
Now Im done first year uni and feeling the passion for carnivorous plants again and this time my plants are either indoors or WAY out of reach for my dog.
and Im starting back my collection with a Seed grown Drosera capensis. Amazing thing about this is that the seeds are about 3+ years old and still germinated pretty well. its about 4 cm tall and growing strong.
After the capensis I got some Drosera Filiformis seeds and already have 10 seedlings that show some promise.
later I acquired some live sphagnum moss but I am just growing it without any plants in it.
AND finally I have a new Sarracenia Purpurea, but I was a little too excited and sun burned it a little, lol. So its a little unsightly.
Well Im starting anew and this time I'm mature and hopefully going to have a Nice purp growing like Hell this year
