how small can the leaf pulling be to propagate vft? I repotted some of my plants and took leaf pullings of the dying traps and the stub leafs from previously groomed leaves. I have about 6 leaf pullings in total, some are very short but have alot of white bulb on it. Any info and imput would be appreciated. Thanks and take care.

You usually have a better rate with a healthy full sized leaf, however I don't see why it wouldn't work if you still had the white bit closest to the plant as that's where the plant lets come from anyways. But it can take a while. I did some in April and in July I saw sprouts on 1 lol

That is a good idea. I am sure 1 will work. I had a red pirhana I think and I repotted and took some leaf cuttings. Of the dead leaves and one good leaf. I then put the plant outside a week later and tried to acclimatize it, but all the plants died. I think it was so,e thing to do with the water. That was April when I took the cuttings, but I put the plant out in June. So not a week actually lol and about a month ago I noticed 3 tiny green dots near the base of the stem. I cut the trap off as it will grow faster then now they are about a cm tall each. It is a good way to get a mature plant. Best of luck Aaron
