HECK NO lol
I just accidentally dumped a million of them darn things on my Sarr collection (good thing they will all die off come winter) after I harvested a scape I thought wasn't open... til I came inside and put it on my desy and saw the darn seeds just POURING out... Nice pics tho, Bro, and a nice looking plant to boot!

Carl!!! You didn't take the necessary precautions! Remember, while harvesting you must first play some soft music to put the restless seeds to sleep. Then you must ever so carefully cut off the scape throw it in a ziploc bag, then throw that in a tupperware container, then seal that with duct tape, a few chains and a padlock, place it in the deepest darkest part of your fridge and don't put any soil media within 20 ft or they'll find a way out. Even with these precautions you're still guarenteed to have at least another 25 seedlings within a week.

Beauty? Yes Weed? No
I'd prefer capensis over chickweed and dandelions any day. That's a nice alba form of capensis you got there... and that makes it even less of a weed. Looks very healthy...and either it's been grown indoors or under glass and terraria...cause there are hardly any bugs on it.

The only thing worse than capensis seeds are U. subulata seeds. They are like powder and float everywhere even into neighbouring terraria (ums?) and can take months to germinate so before you know it all your pots are infested. Then it's a continual battle to remove every little bit that pops up. I tried to cut the flowers off but it's hard so I think I'll have to quarantine it. It does have nice flowers though.

ahh... a domesticated CP! It's funny how we humans are... if the plant is easy to grow, no one pays much attention to it. If they're difficult and hard to get... everyone wants it! However, in the case of VFTs, here's the exception - easy to grow...and everyone wants one (or a variant of one). Personally, I think the dentate form is just plain ugly...especially the 'bart simpson' variant ...but hey, everyone has to have a variant of each to satisfy their checklist, so there's a demand for it. Nicely grown capensis btw

I had all these capensis seeds left over...so I thought I'd start up a jungle of sundews. Here is photo #1, one month after the seeds were sown:

Sell them on eBay as "RARE Exotic CAPE SUNDEWS" for 10 seeds to a dollar.

lol! vinc .... I would probably just be speechless ..lol! I just hope my capensis doesn't flower anytime soon. ... I rather get VFT infestation with like 100's of dionaeas rather than a capensis infestation. . I guess I am a fan of the rosetted sundew family.
