I have a second flower stalk starting from the same plant that curently has a flower stalk and is flowering. This first stalk started about a month ago. Is it normal to have a second flower stalk coming out from the same plant? You can just see it in the middle of the picture.

I only see one flower stalk, where's the second? The short one looks like a new leaf.

Yeah hard to see the second stalk. So the big thick stalk in the middle is the first one. Then right in the middle between the big stalk and the new trap growing beside it in the middle of the two, one can see the stalk bud just forming. Thats the second one coming out. I am using artificial lights that come on from 8 AM to 9 PM.

...it is not unusual for Flytraps to send out multiple flower stalks. I think my max was 5 or 6 coming out of a single plant, not its divisions, those had their own stalks. Happy Growing!
