Looks pretty good Willy! You should be able to winter that out side this year!

Thanks! That's the plan, hopefully the Sarrs are able to overwinter (since they are still young and small).

Willy.
I like your mini bog and I am planning a couple for temperate plants incl some pings, dros and puperescens.
When you started did you add any soil from an actual bog (to kickstart local biotics, microscopic invertebrates)?
I was thinking of using crushed granite as my base and then add about a five in layer of my custom peat mix, with a couple of cups worth of bog or fen muck. What do you think?
Also, did you wait for a specific temp to start outside? I know how to 'harden off plants' so they can adapt to sun light, but temps is another matter alltogether.
Thanks!

Willy. I like your mini bog and I am planning a couple for temperate plants incl some pings, dros and puperescens.. I would start the nano bog when the temperature gets warm around early spring. I have started mine in April, but it could differ from places to places in Canada. I used the peat right out of the bag so I didn't intentionally added anything besides shifting out some junks from the peat I bought. Good luck and don't forget to share yours with us once it's done! Best regards, Willy
