I wanted to add a grow log for my first VFT seedling growth. About four weeks out now and I had germination a little over a week ago. I wanted to get some macro photography up of the very early stages so please enjoy. First carnivorous leaf coming up in the middle, I kept this profile as it maintains most of the seedling in focus I will try to keep a log of this particular plant for comparison, hope you enjoy. Almost forgot to add a pic of a growing flower stalk...

I will! I saw that thread about the new seedlings going to flower - odd. The stalk here is coming up from an adult that I just got from Sheridan. Both plants actually had one, and I am going to snip them off soon to propagate. Cheers!

Nice clear pictures! Flytraps are one of the most rewarding CP's to grow from seed, easy, instant gratification and fast growing.

I'm using a Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens on my DSLR. This little guy in the peat may be headed towards biggest trap of 2019 - monsterous little leaf coming out
