kdawg and I have some we could sell, as far as we're aware we're the only ones that have imported it legally.

I have been experimenting using Maxsea on Sarracenia seedlings for about six weeks now with pretty amazing results. Ill post some comparison pics when I can. I look forward to trying it on mature plants soon. I use the dosage recommended by Peter D'amato from California Carnivores. If people would like to try some out, I'm sure we can figure something out. It doesn't have a Canadian fert approval number so importing it is challenging if your not a regular CFIA/CBSA importer.

The most recent thing I'm going to try is a K-lite orchid fertilizer: 12-1-1 10Ca-3Mg. Orchid community is raving about it. The low P mixes have shown good responses across a wide diversity of plants, as long as the Ca/Mg ratio is good. The K-lite looks like it should be good for CP too. Time will tell.

This a pic of a trial I ran on a few pots of S.'Dana's Delight' X HCW "clone F". The other sarracenia species/hybrids trials had pretty much the same results. I am ending the trials today as I cant stand watching the control pots lack the healthy growth. I used a very mild concentration of Maxsea. The exact same seed under the same light under same conditions. The pot on the left received three fert applications 14 day apart.

I was curious to see how the true species did compared to the hybrids. These Leucophylla var. alba 'HCW' seem to be enjoying the nutrients.

Hmm does it have to be maxsea brand? Will other brands work as long the numbers match up? 16-16-16?

I had no problem ordering maxsea off amazon.com (.COM not .ca) and getting it shipped to Canada, if that option suits any of you.

Thanks. But are there any results of maxsea vs osmocote? I can see maxsea be used on young plants to help it grow. But what about osmocote use? I see a lot of results for people using it.
