This is my first time overwintering Sarrs in my fridge and it looks like they've managed to survive. Is there a general rule (minimum temperature?) as to when they should be put back outside?

I assume you have bare rooted the plants in the fridge over winter? in which case you will need to pot them up and put them outside when the temperatures are consistently above freezing. Cheers Steve

The plants stayed in their pots (6" azalea pots). I just cut the tops back and put the plants in a bag with the top folded over in the fridge. Not quite consistently above freezing here so I'll wait a few more weeks. Thanks!

Take them out when it's above 3C or so to get some rain, sun and fresh air. If it goes below 3C at night take them back in. When the weather is consistently good leave them out.
