Very true about humidity. I have some changes to make soon to try and keep humidity down a bit. The warm air humidifier is too much but I need the warm air because the garage is so cold right now. I'll probably look into a small heater to get me through a few more weeks of the low temperature. Then I'll just have the fan going abd I think it'll help. I should have put the wood on the outside now that I've seen how humid it gets in there.!

Blown away by the size of this new pitcher on the N.Veitchii x Eymae. It's double the size of any other pitcher to date. Stunning colour.

Starting to fill outa bit. Still a bunch of room but I'm definately making sure I have room to grow what I have as well. I'll most likely put another light down low so I can utilize more of the bottom section aside from storage.

...the only reason I asked is because I'm assuming yours is fairly warm in that chamber. Mine has spent the Winter in very cool conditions, probably averaging 6-7 degrees Celcius since November and it is doing very well. While some of my other Neps have unfortunately succumbed to the cold conditions, the Lingulata is thriving. It is steadily producing new pitchers. Leads me to believe this is a very hardy species and tolerant of a wide range of climate. Of course my conclusion is only based on an assumption! . Nice growing either way! AV.

My day temps have been around 20 and my nights go down to 13 so a little warmer. For a while there my temps were max 18c day and about 11 at night. Everything seemed fine and didn't miss a beat. Plants have been growing far better than they ever have actually

...so your lows were my highs, even less. Conclusion.......don't worry about your Lingulata being too cold, it can handle it...
AV.
...and may possibly prefer it...
