Is it Saran Wrap that you are using to "dome" your cephs? Does it matter that the Saran Wrap rests on top of the cephs? I see short swizzle sticks but some pots seem to be bursting with cephs. Very nice. I hope that I can get mine to look as good as yours. Thanks for posting

Hi curlingguy - Very nicely grown! I love the Styrofoam cups. Ingenious! I presume there are drain holes punched in bottom, yes? I'm sure you've done this in the past, but for those of us still not getting results like yours, could you give us the basic run down on your cultivation technique? You know the drill, day/night temps, humidity, lights, soil mix, and watering procedure. I'd love to emulate your results. Thanks! Hi amanitovirosa - I'll conscript my plants to your ceph army. But we're still going to to Curlingguy - badly!

...conscripts eh, that reminds me, I gotta watch Braveheart again. Why can't my wife understand that it's a love story and I'm just a hopeless romantic? Even Wallace`s crazy army couldn`t defeat Curlingguy`s mighty Cephs! Some very impressive clumps there.

Fear the swarm!
It just occurred to me seeing your plants that no one has ever come up with an antho-free Ceph while so many other groups of CPs have them pop up. Maybe one day.

Temperate stuff should go outside (in the growing season). For other stuff, some care is needed. Direct summer sun can roast plants, thunderstorms can damage them. Careful exposure to the elements can be good but leaving them out unattended can risk burning, drying out, animal damage, wind damage, things falling on them, etc.

I had my venus fly trap outside all summer/fall long and it did very well. Do you provide any light covering for protection of the more sensitive species? Thanks for the tips lloyd!
