Hey everyone! I've recently developed an admiration for collecting and raising Venus Flytraps. I've got the appropriate growing medium supplies, I've got the huge cfl, and everything else I need - everything but the plants themselves.
I've heard that I apparently have the worst luck - Hawaiian Botanicals in Vancouver, just recently, stopped selling non-wholesale orders.
Do any of you know of any stores, whether in-person retail in Ontario or online anywhere in Canada, or even anyone on this forum, that sell some of the many unique cultivars I've been learning about? I've recently become fascinated by Dionaea such as the Low Giant, G16, and Big Vigorous. Does anyone know how I could acquire these, whether as cultures or grown plants? I've heard of ordering cultures from Flytrapstore.com (in the States), but I've been in contact with the owner and he says he won't be carrying those particular cultures in the coming months, because they didn't take, or were contaminated.
Any help would be appreciated, I'm very eager to start raising some traps!
