Lloyd is correct, if it's a plant it needs a permits. A Phyto at the very least. That being said, I would love a cutting, we have jackfruit, soup sop, papaya, mangos, pinapples, vanilla, gingers passion fruit and a bunch of other common foods growing at the Butterfly Gardens. We would be able to get a large fruiting size plant in no time, good back up if yours goes down hill

yes, I realize that I was lucky. That's why I wouldn't want other people to risk it like I did. I will definitely share cuttings with you guys when I have them available

Thanks Willy. I'll let you know if I need one then. I just ordered one from thailand. The guy said if he ships more than two then he needs papers and that he is putting mine through the treatment process. It's nice to know that they can still live after being in the mail that long. I guess as long as it doesn't freeze on the way here. I've tried to order one from floraexotica in Montreal but the guy won't respond to my emails or fax. I have ordered from him before for other plants and have received them but the last year he won't respond. He does have a site called miraberry.ca where he sells miracle fruit plants that range from young to mature and the prices do match up with the ones from floraexotica. The www.miraberry.ca/plants.htm site seems to be automated and that might be the one I try if my order from thailand doesn't materialize. Just putting the miraberry info out there to help anyone looking for this type of plant in Canada.

www.miraclefruit.ca/I found this website that is a Canadian source. They sell seeds and plants (as well as edible fruit products. They're sold out of seeds and plants right now, but I hope they're back in stock soon!

Hello everyone,
There is someone here selling Miracle fruit plants. They are well established plants in 7" pots and should bear fruit by next year if not this year. Two plants available $75 each plus shipping. Ouch!! I know but it's what I could find and I bought one for myself. I might post pictures here but if you're really interested I'll send you pics.
Regards

If you don't mind can you please PM how much it cost you to import your plant ? Trying to see if I'm getting ripped off here or not.

It was about $40-50cad, plant was much smaller so I think $75 for that plant is fine. Cheers, Willy
