I just got a 60 gallon tank for free and am in the process of putting the bottom on right the silicone coming off or something soo im removing it. Any tips on removing it its being a pain with a execto knife. I dont need it right sealed up i just want it to be able to hold a couple inches of water. Is there a difrent product that will maybe adhere to the old silicone on the outer sheets of glass? Again only a couple inches of water at most

I think it's better to use silicone remover, you can probably buy it from Canadian Tire or some stores like that. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ7x6Lcml1YOtherwise it's a pain to remove silicone using just a knife or something sharp... It's possible but takes much effort. Nice tank btw!
