Looks fantastic John. I have some a.bulbifer tubers coming in soon and its going to be my first time growing the genus. I do have s.venosum, which is quite similar though. How difficult is germinating the seed?

Dennis, seed if fresh is very easy to germinate, choose your grow mix and just place just under the top few mm , only and keep water up to it , if fresh germination is usually only 2 to 4 weeks , seem thousands of these on my trips in jungles but never in flower, only in tree form ,so great to flower my own Evey year . amorph love lots of fert too , more the better, high nitro too , once a week heavy fret the tuber can grow 5 times is size in a few months get 1 with low salts though ok John

What mix do you use? I use a mixture of worm castings:peatmoss:perlite:sand ( 3:1:2:2).

just a high grade potting mix is all I use , they grow in very poor soils in wild , like a lot of leaf matter compost in the jungles . not in swamps at all , usually on higher well drained soils . John
