Base on Pokemon logic, the move "Earthquake" is not effective on plants.

It was just a M6 quake, sure there will be a few flattened Neps but life, uh, fines a way.

Its sad to see that there are some people who have died in this quake. Truly its amazing that the guides are so awesome that they have taken the responsibility to take care and help the visitors down the mountain in such conditions. True heroes indeed. There isn't really much we can do about plants that may have been buried/killed. Yet, as Luc mentioned, life will find a way...Given enough time to recover, the plants will re-establish and regain the ground and perhaps find some new pastures on the steep/barren granite slopes where pockets could have formed.

Im staying in Kota Kinabalu currently, there was another M6 earthquake which happened at Ranau on 13th of June, Sabah and i believe it is the same spot. SO far only the peak named "DOnkey Ears" was affected and broken. The other should be alright, unless the nep was really unlucky enough to be at the path of the rock slides. Other than Mt. Kinabalu, the rest of the Sabah was believe to be unaffected. THe impact was quite strong, and even I had felt it although i was nearly 200km apart from it. The swimming pool had waves and it shake around 5 seconds...haha
