...wow!!!, Snapperhead, thanks for posting these!!! You are a very lucky man, to be living Down Under and being able to check out these Cephs in their natural world. Your pics (and others I've seen) very often show Cephalotus Follicularis growing on severely sloped ground, almost vertical. Would you be able to disclose (or remember) which direction these slopes were facing? I feel another experiment coming on.......Thanks again!!! Cheers.!

all cephs face south to south-ish here in there natural locations or there about , the only site that has very step or high sloping grow areas is coal mine beach the rest are in usually slow sloping gullys with or water catchment areas with permanent under ground or surface water ,all though not all some are swap ares and some just out of the norm up on a small rise ?? but must have the water to survive what a site may look like ,as u see very over grown hard to find and very difficult to locate

Thanks for sharing. Those are some amazing pics Snapperhead. But hey....its sad to see so many cephs gone in the after pictures. Hopefully if it is undisturbed, perhaps the population can bounce back up the wall in the years to come.

Absolutely fascinating! Thanks so much for posting these pics and for your insights into the natural habitats of Cephalotus.
I've never heard of the "French man bay site", the plant in the first pic from that site looks very cool. Sorry to see the losses from "Coal mine beach".
