If roots develop, the pieces with roots can be separated and will grow on their own.

Are the cuttings growing well? I find it so amazing that with just a little hormone change in the plant any cell can pretty much re-differentiate into meristematic tissue! AHHMAZING

Oh yes, they are grown! This is one of the many D. Binata seedlings from just one leaf!
