Some of the BC folk have success with...binata outside... I can confirm this, I have had some binatas survive some winters outside. I've lost more though. I am willing to experiment with a capensis. May need a few to make the study statistically valid. I can vouche that capensis is hardy for a light freeze and frost. I actually overwintered capensis and binata in my bog back in Niagara. This year wouldn't work that well haha

we average -25C here in winters I was going to put my greenhouse kit together in the shed, and put them on a shelf near the concrete floor since it cooler , put them in it then zip I closed for some heat and shelter from wind that gets in the shed around the windows!I hear Capensis may get through the winter outside but I am not prepared to lose one if I am wrong BC and NL temps are like night and day you might have success being in BCbut here, outside in winter is like asking for dead plants lol !!! Any idea where I can get seed of these? Drosera Intermedia Drosera Angelica D. linearis D. rotundifolia halI think those Purpera seeds got lost in the mail I still did not get them!!

I feel the need to mention to everyone that I've already offered Dennis all of these species but one. Including flytraps, Darlingtonia, Sarracenia species and some hybids all for free. I have yet to receive his SASE and he's told me that it will still be several weeks before he sends it.
Save your seeds for someone else that wants to grow them.

halI think those Purpera seeds got lost in the mail I still did not get them!! Sorry, maybe the pigeon got shot or something. One person has PM'ed me to tell me they got them. Unfortunately, I have no more. Mailing them to you is like coals to Newcastle. I bet there's a bog near you with some ripe seed pods.

I never said it will take several weeks to send a SASE I will send one its just my disability limits me and my compensation payment comes at the end of the month so I will get it sent to you then Thank you for giving me another chance to get these and a SASE is going to be sent most people would redistribute them or use them so thank you if you need my address pm me your address and I will give you mine if you want, you can send them C.O.D or I can get a SASE in the mail, its your choice

@ Amanotivorsa
I Know, I was dealing with personal issues and completely forgot But am glad he gave me another chance most people would give up like you said or give them to others but I am going to send a SASE I gave him my word and never go back on it I got a neurological disability that is never getting better (Involves the cerebellum), dealing with that is why I forgot honestly before I went to the hospital(I spent 8 days in ICU) I was getting ready to send it off and when I came home someone used the stamped envelope I thought I lost it then got the news from the neurologist and I ended up forgetting a lot of things but a SASE is being sent.

...sorry about your disability but you know Dennis, there are still sellers on eBay that accept money orders. If you were to check out eBay you would probably find all the seeds you are searching for, and more, for just a couple of bucks. Maybe that would be easier for you instead of having pages and pages of your want ads. Just a thought, I hope you are well. PS, I sent you some Dionaea seeds last year (that I got off eBay), how are they doing?

They all germinated and one seedling had a trap then they all died off and I cannot figure out why! As for ebay I did look but wanted to do business with forum members I agree about numerous pages of want ads but after posting I remembered something I forgot the edit thing was gone and I had to create a new post we need a delete option for situations like that.
