...good work! I got several 'Dionaea Megatraps' from Devon (thumbs up all the way!) in May, they were babies. Just a couple of hours ago I found a huge Wolf Spider in my cold room and fed it to the almost 2" 'Megatrap' trap in my grow chamber. Hopefully they survive the non-dormancy and go to sleep in 2015. Cheers

Nice plant! It's nice to know I'm not the only one doing a bit of winter flytrap growing. I have a munch growing now that are going to get a veeery short dormancy before spring. amanitovirosa: Wow! Nice work. Mine are still the same size before - they are in dormancy. I think yours will be okay to continue growing 'til next year. If you put them outside in the spring they might go into dormancy for a little bit because of the cooler temps, but then start a new cycle when the weather gets warm again.

...Here's a pic that I just took today after hooking up a couple of brand new 4' Sunblasters with reflectors!!! I just had regular shop T8's before. These are great lights, my recently acquired Ceph's went from bright green to dark purple in about a week. Anyways, here's a pic of the 'Megatraps' www.flickr.com/photos/127973043@N05/16117031266/...the one that ate the huge spider is on the lower left. Cheers! Devon: ...Most likely I will put these (Megatraps, Long Red Fingers and Paradisia) outside for the summer and let them fall asleep come the fall, 2015. They are my 3 favourites right now so I really hope they make it. Amanito.

@amanitavirosa: I'm glad you like them! The megatraps looks healthy. Soon your plants will be a lot more colourful with those lights! I love t5's. T8's can grow nice looking plants too, but the difference is phenomenal. comparison: www.flickr.com/photos/devon_blomquist/16132848176/sizes/l

Here is the same trap digesting some freeze dried bloodworm (hydrated first...the bloodworm not the plant) Note the wide sealed band ...not just sealed around edge
