Such a shame too cuz all t cephs r throwing out what i assume to be mature pitchers and leaves they look like they recovered from potting up in maybe a month ...showing alot of growth and getting me excited to do pitcher pulls on some of them. Im going to let a couple just go but i do wanna do pitcher pulls ... My cephs r in 30 degrees right now and have gotten that hot for awhile ... At least in my basement window i think they will get the chilly 5 c. My poor catayleys were in that window sill The neps didnt seem toncare to dip below 10. I dont think it hit 5 but i can crack the window and hit 5 . .....u have grown cephs for awhile havnt u what have u done for there winter rest?

Yip that I have. Just let the soil dry almost completely watering that's all I've ever done. Never lost one. I've also kept them through 'dormancy' in a tray bottom water wet at all times, also with great success.

yep- my ping medium is really loose, mostly perlite, and I have never lost a mexi-ping over winter. In my experience, Cephs never want it too wet, any time. They tend to start cranking out leaves and forgetting about pitchers in the winter. Hopefully someone can add some details here

That was the best reference I could find. Thx for the info! Great chart. I give my cephs these exact temps. In fact, the temperatures you can see on that table are also perfect for helis and hl neps. Thats why i grow them all togheter. Add a massive rh and a little air flow, and its a perfect hl setup, IMO. Even mexican pings will enjoy that range of cool temperaturs.

My pings are thriving in there I can attest to that.
