Does anyone else here have a tank setup strictly for germination and propagation? I use a 10g tank setup with a bit of water in the bottom for humidity and it's probably 85% sealed at first. I use plastic wrap as I can fold it back a bit after they get enough size to harden them to my desired humidity levels. Pretty easy setup and it works like a charm. There's a heat mat adhered to the back to keep warm Lowland conditions and if I'm germinating HL plants it just gets unplugged and moved into my HL room. It's also easily made arid if I decide to try cacti or succulents simply by removing the water and running the heat mat. It's Multi purpose and I have used it over and over again. Especially germinating fussy plants. It's currently full now of 6 different species of ant plants. Mostly mymecodia and hynophytum of different locations. Lit my just a basic 4' T-8. Attachments:

Very nice propagation setup I dont have a terra just for propagation like you, i simply put the seeds where i have free space. Its never the same place. All my terrariums have 95%RH and massive lighting, so its the same everywhere.

No specific aquarium for me neither but I use dedicated showbox that I put inside the right set-up depending on the seeds type.

Nice idea. I use a seed tray with plastic cover, and maybe a heating pad underneath.

I use petri dishes with germination paper. Are you growing ant-plants from seed?

I use petri dishes with germination paper. Are you growing ant-plants from seed? Yes I haven't done it prior but I know some that have and they say it's very easy and high germination rates should be expected

Fantastic germination tank Cory. I don't have one myself either. I just throw it in wherever. More recently, I have started having small tupperware tubs or salad disposable containers for seed germination under a table lamp. Now, I am going to throw some old nepenthes seed in a pot in my setup for VFTs and see how it does.

Where did you get your ant-plant seed from? I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Do you have any spare you would consider selling/trading?
