I'm very sorry about your orchids but your Neps look awesome!
Is that your macrophllya in the fourth pic? Stunning regardless.

Well that's not high at all. Hmmm... I wish I could help. If you want I could send you a little bag of Maxsea. It's supposed to be pretty safe. Thanks man. Lets figure it out when we setup the trade we were talking about. I am currently using my old Better-gro no urea orchid fertilizer. I am trying to see if I can get some osmocote. The guy at the orchid show said he uses one pellet osmocote for each lepanthes mount.

Everything is looking amazing! I would have to advise putting your Lepanthes into the darkest part of your setup. Although they like similar temps as Neps, they do not like the light! Out of all the Pleurothallids I've grown Lepanthes hate bright light the most. Hopefully lowering the light will help solve your problem! Good idea Justin. Unfortunately I need to try to find spaces in between pots and some of these are directly mounted on the hygrolon. And space is a big problem. I'll try to figure something out.

Really this is a good excuse to make a second matching tank for lower light plants! If you can keep if cool enough for those Nepenthes there is a world of micro-miniature orchids you could fill a tank with. I have a friend that I told to post his later sales list here, he could help you fill it

But I guess they are really not all too compatible. In my old big tanks, the heat from the T5 fixture and relative height made it work. But now I am still trying to get the right conditions. The second tank is predominatly orchids now. Yup! Thats my macro. Newer pitcher.

Nolan may be interested in this considering we banked on two different brands of powerful LEDs. This is how the VFTs do square under the ecotech fixture.

Trying to recover/rescue a dying Lths. telipogoniflora. Got this bowl from dollar store. For the longest time, wanted to make a planted tank with it. But figured this is a good use too. final bowl I put saran wrap on top and put it next to a window in the living room. Very diffuse low lighting. So lets see how it goes.

Good luck Varun! I hope this method works well for you. I would love to try Lepanthes one day. Are they hard to get a hold of?

Not really. Just keep a lookout at orchid shows. Ecuagenera is the company that supplies them...they come to canada at least twice an year. You can get them to ship it whenever they come to canada.

Haha! Thanks. It actually becomes a big problem though. I need to keep weeding out those annoying sheet mosses. They grow everywhere.
