Looking fantastic Varun! That's an amazing comeback your Cephs have had, it's really great to see. It takes some real courage (and usually quite a bit of experience) to take such drastic measures when faced with a prized but rotting plant. It certainly paid off That macrophylla is looking so awesome, is this a commercial clone or seed grown plant? Truly thanks for your kind words man. I really appreciate it. Both my macrophylla are commercial clones. This one may be a wistuba one and the other is a rarer german clone. I have also acquired a sg one from the same person you guys have gotten yours....so looking forward to seeing that one grow.

Very nice Varun ! I had some exo terra before, and i had hard times trying to keep the relative humidity high enough for my helis. What is your method ?

Very nice Varun ! I had some exo terra before, and i had hard times trying to keep the relative humidity high enough for my helis. What is your method ? Thanks Francois. Actually my tanks are open at the top too. The method is saturation ... Have enough biomass and the humidity will maintain itself for the most part. The issue though may be plant height. As u can see most of mine are low to the surface of the soil... And the sphagnum mass creates a more humid environment. I only just mist both tanks heavily with a hand pressure sprayer twice a day at the most.

Hi vraev - Fantastic as always! It seems everything you do is done with an eye to detail. Your setups always has this air of transcendence. Very impressive! Good to know that N. macrophylla seedlings can grow so strongly. I've been doing neps from seed recently. I'll have to keep an eye out for where I can land some mac seeds. This too is good to know. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing! Thanks man. It was my intention to have a tank like this. I can't be any happier regarding how it turned out. I am glad. Seed is a tough subject. Just to clarify.. This is a clone. I grew this for the last 6 years or 5 years. It came to be as a tough 2" plant. It completely died down to a stump and restarted from a basal when it was around this exact size (6" dia). Seed for such species are very hard to get. I just bought a sg from a private seller, but I don't have seed myself. I would love to get some myself. I think u need to have some good connections to get such rare seed.

Hi Varun - Thanks for the heads up on the seed availability. I do understand that seed of some species get horded, and can be tricky to come across. I wasn't planning actively seeking it so much as making a mental note that mac seedlings aren't as pesky as some. That said, SG or clone, yours is looking great!

Haha! I can't wait to see how it turns out too. I am almost hesitant moving these plants.. but oh well...needs to be done. Can't wait to see how/what is buried under the sphagnum. Some old random seedlings (could be dubia/jamban/inermis) are buried at the back under the sphagnum. Don't even know if it is alive anymore. lol...they are so buried. I really need to thin the moss out, but I Love the lush grown in look. It looks like a carpet front to back. haha

Just an interesting shot. Some fungus stowaway on some eBay N. jacquelineae seed. First time seeing such fungus. Kinda cool. The mushrooms degenerated the next day when I wanted to tank a better shot.
