Hi, I am looking for the all green (with white patches) form of sarracenia minor. I think it's called the green monster.
If you have some for sale please let me know.
Thanks!

Sarracenia "Green Monster" is an antho-free Sarracenia x excellens or Sarracenia leucophylla x minor. The pure antho-free minor doesn't have those white fringes around the hood although it looks similar to minor at first glance.
I still don't have any S. "Green Monster" available but I do have some nice Sarracenia psittacina x minor antho-free that have the green minor sort of look. I can send you pictures if you're interested.

Yes I would be interested.
The green monster I am looking for don't have much fringes, but they do have white patches on the back. Here is a pic of what I am looking for, but I am open to suggestion for something else as well:
I would so much like to find one like this:

Ya that plant is Sarracenia minor var minor f. viridescens. Rob takes some awesome pictures if his plants eh?
I have a single Sarracenia minor var minor f. viridescens but it is a tiny little seedling so it's years away from dividing.
I'll take some pictures of the cross I have.

Ordering plants from the USA? not an easy task though. I checked ebay and nothing, or at least no seller that ship to Canada, but I once ordered sarracenias from France and it was very quick and easy but it seems that ordering from the USA is not so easy.
I bought 7 sarracenias from France last year and all did great, but the seller does not have the green monster.
If you know of a USA seller that ship to Canada let me know because I don't know any.

I can help you. Robert Co from the pitcher plant project is a personnal friend.
I think i can get you seeds. Lemme check.
Edit: Ok, he dont have this right now, but he will make the cross for me.
Like H2O said, green monster is an S. excellens (leuco/minor cross) there may be other AF excellens out there. It's very rare.

So if he makes that cross it will take at least a year I guess before he has some seeds. I would take anything for sure, plants or seeds.
Thank you so much!

I would be really keen on buying a division of that in a few years when it matured. Definitely on the bucket list.
