Its a beautiful plant!
But clearly overpriced.
If this plant is 100% stable, virus free and keep this color in the future, i will buy it, but not over 200€. Its my price limit for a plant. We will see in a couple years.
Thanks for sharing this link!

Lol yeah, whoever actually buys it also better not kill it in some months or something. Surely the price will drop in a few years, but it's probably going to be the most expensive heli out there, ha.

At that price, and it's an auction, I would wait to see how the cultivar develops. Personally I would rather have " big orange"
If I had all the others maybe

I am starting to think this plant has something wrong with it and someone wants the most he/she can get for it and fools like the colors and...you know how fools and money soon part company?

Do they offer a gurentee? at that price I would want a guarentee that if it perished in shipping there is a way to recover losses to the buyer but 500 euro to start? Ray Charles can see its priced to high DC XL is new and they go for around 50 dollars us This is a ripoff it will probably die before or soon after it gets delivered. Hell Cephalotos is only around 60 dollars! Iwould get seeds from his plant first and IF the seeds make it then the plant might be a consideration but at that price that will not happen soon.

I'm suspicious. If it's healthy and reproducible, why are they selling it? Or maybe they have a dozen back in tissue culture and in 2 years your 500 Euro investment will be worth 50. Happens all the time with the newest perennials. When they are introduced they're $75 and in 2 years you can get them at Loblaws: PC Gigantico "Memories of Tijuana" Hosta, $9.99.

Personally I would rather have " big orange" If I had all the others maybe Yep Big Orange is a real stable heli cultivar since years. Like Selection1 or Burgundy-black. I grow them all and they are very fast growers, virus free plants. For the flamingo, the auctions will start at 500eu, by email!. Its not serious. How can you bet, if you cannot see others bids. Its kinda amateur. Also, maybe its only a virus, or a unstable clone. So, i will keep my wallet in my pocket for this one. Just imagine: you buy that plant at 750eu, and one year later you realise you cannot propagate the plant, or the colors are just viral.

A president choice plant ! wooot Did you gain some PC points? :-) Seriously, i agree with your point. Im sure that plant will be at 100$ in a couple years, or it will just disapear from the market after that auction. Dennis: i dont think so. If you buy that plant, and you lost it a month later, its your problem. A very expensive problem.

hal: are you sure this plant is at Loblaws? I went there today and nobody knew anything about PC Gigantico Heli 'flamingo'? They did have some nice grafted tomatoes, though.
