Hi I have a small plastic container I want to make into a Terrarium just for VFTs I was wondering how wet the media should be and watering options, I was thinking a inverted pop bottle with the bottom cut off in the corner of the Terrarium or is there a better way? Keep in mind I wanna try all the options I could try b4 buying anything. Its like planting pots plastic beer cups do the same as a 2 dollar pot and foil trays hold water just as good as a dollar tray!

depending on the plants you are trying to put into your make shift terrarium so to say VFT don't like it so wet and too hot So watering depends on what you are putting in You can just use those plastic beer cups and place them outside with a tray of water and bring them in when it's too cold ... Save you money to buy more plants

This is only going to be for VFT's I was looking for a sort of water dispenser so there is no need to water for 3 or 4 days like hamsters have but waters on its own or should I just mist the media 2 or 3 times a week until the media is just most to the touch?

Don't cut the bottom off the pop bottle or it won't work like you intend it to. All the water will just rush out into the terrarium. If you want something that is self-watering look at how chick waterers work. Water will drain out to the level of the drain hole in the jug.
I've had lots of experience with terrariums for frogs and plants and I can say that they are generally very high maintenance. You need to constantly adjust things and replant them about once a year as things grow and the medium gets stale. They look their best a few months after planting but 6 months later things have grown and died and moved and got dirty.
My preference is to keep the plants in individual pots inside a terrarium, the main benefit of which is to increase the humidity. You can add bark slabs and branches and stones and moss around the pots to make it look more natural.

I was not thinking of a few months when plants grew I will use pots I was given venus fly trap seeds, D Natalensis seeds, and expect D Nidiformis seeds any day now How big are U.Gibba seeds? someone sent me some in a small baggie of water with a few plant strands but the water leaked out and I never did find the green strands, there are a few specs in the baggie could they be seeds? Are they germinated in peat and then put in water? or do I put peat on bottom, fill with rainwater and let the seeds sink and settle in the peat to germinateThanks for stopping me from a Terrarium before I made one !!
