my T5HO's are 6400K. I am really happy with them. I am amazed that my succulents, which of course are generally hard core sun-lovers, do very well under them. Do you use Sunblaster ?

I think you can buy reasonable quality ballasts but who knows whether it's worth it.

I just use good quality T5HO's from a local place, not SunBlasters.

I tried many brands, but Sunblaster+Poni crystal reflector is the top for me. I can reach the insitu look of any heliamphora under a single 24" 6400kel full spectrum. I also like to add some blue spectrum, because i grow my plants in 90%RH. Have a look Sunblasterlighting.com good info out there

I have a bunch of Sunblasters, not because they're better but because they're inexspensive at my local supplier. They seem to work just as well as all other T5HO
