I have one that looks the same. The bulbs kept blowing and I had to replace them all the time-very tedious. I gave up on it and switched to T5HO's. I would not go back to LED's any time in the near future. I was looking through a local flyer and could not believe what I seen! a LED light bulb like any standard household bulb was selling a package of 1 for $12.49 each ! I find the LED mini-bulbs a lot more dependable than a regular bulb, but at the same time a array of 36 mini-bulbs start at $ 4.59 for just white light and colored bulbs drive the price up a lot All I ever used was bright white LED's,the plants seem to do fine,I even germinated seeds with it and grew plants under them combined with sunlight last summer I purchased a desk lamp for $20 with 36 mini bulbs and they were guarantee for 10 000 hours and only used 22 hours of power in a year but we will see if it lives up to all the hype! unless stores or manufactures drop the high prices these lights might be a passing fad EDs are bought how much is really saved as soon as mine starts blowing bulbs its gonna be replaced I only got the lamp cause it was cheap at the time and I wanted to see how the plants reacted to them

Thanks for the kind words guys. I know there are a few other members who have the same form as well. It has always been a great grower for me.
I can certainly set aside seeds for people when/if it flowers. Maybe I could do a sase or something.

LED lights are relatively new and the price is bound to drop. Even at current prices they're more economical than CFL if they really do last 10 years.

Very beautiful indeed! Is it just me or do they not seem as intense in color as before (compared to previous posts)?

Thanks guys. :-) LAKJP: You're right that the colours are not as intense in the new pictures. I'm not as consistent as I'd like to be when it comes to correcting white balance or adjusting for it when taking pictures, haha. The plants in real life are more vibrant than the pictures above but probably not as vibrant as the older ones.

Alright, last update I suppose. The light is much higher above the plants now, but they are still retaining most of their colour, (probably because I haven't fed them) and their growth is less compact which I think looks nicer. And they're flowering now! D. burmannii red and typical Drosera x [anglica "CA x HI" x "Lantau Island"]Thanks for looking!
