Looking good Avery. I like your Nepenthes unknown, it kind of has a young inermis look to it...at this stage.

Nice ceph ! Cool lil soil hill to avoid rhizome rot. Well done! Thanks Maiden. That's exactly it. I've heard they're quite susceptible. Looking good Avery. I like your Nepenthes unknown, it kind of has a young inermis look to it...at this stage. Thanks Guy. Tough to say what it is at this point. It could be hybridized with N. inermis, but the leaves look different to me. Here are a couple more- A pretty, newly opened Nepenthes ventricosa pitcher: Nepenthes hamata pitcher. I was keeping this one in too dense of media- after switching to living Sphagnum and perlite, the plant seems much healthier, but is still quite small:

Thanks! I just got some new plants in today from Wistuba. The weather was great for it and the plants seem healthy enough. I'll top dress the pots with Sphagnum once they've settled in a bit. I also have a bunch of different Utricularia species establishing themselves in my terrarium substrate. Hopefully that wasn't a bad idea... Ha From top to bottom: Nepenthes tenuis Nepenthes glabrataNepenthes villosa (x2) Nepenthes dubia Nepenthes inermis Nepenthes aristolochioides

Beautiful plants guys. It is definitely a good grower... similar to jacquelineae and jamban in terms of conditions. I got a tenuis in the last group order in 2011, but it died during my big freeze in January. tenuis at foot of jamban with flava seedling Another one of those plants I need to re acquire later in the future once I have a bigger growspace.

roraima- yes, I must say I'm pretty excited. I've been pretty picky with what Nepenthes I purchase, and I've tried to keep them somewhat "terrarium appropriate", although there are always exceptions. I'm going to have to start planning a bigger grow area soon... ha. I will get some more pictures going once the plants settle in and start growing. They really don't look like much at this point in time.
maiden- nice plants! N. tenuis is definitely a cool species, funny that it's my most expensive plant so far. It definitely has the thinnest leaves of that particular shipment, so I'll have to harden it up a bit.
vraev- my condolences. What a shame. Looks like they were growing very well for you at one point.

Hey maiden- yeah, I've divided and rooted the N. argentii divisions. I'm trying to grow a nice little group of them. I haven't had this species long enough to see what kind of growth it's capable of, so I'm not ready to trade/sell anything. Here is the terrarium. As always, I have plants in many different stages of development, and I've just pulled up a bunch of Sphagnum. With all the new plants, this terrarium is looking a lot smaller. Also, I think I need some more Tillandsia to help shade the Masdevallia. They're not doing so well, unfortunately.
