I was talking to someone that grows cephs and they mentioned they put milk in the pitchers for nutrition and that it provides great results. Not that I don't believe the person I just want to be a little cautious if I decide to try this myself. I am curious as to if this would indeed benefit the plant or not. I wanted to try this with some of my cephs to see if there is any positive effects on the plant however I am a bit worried that the milk will get moldy and cause the pitchers to rot. Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on this topic? Please let me know if you have tried this and what the results were thanks! Taliss

Yeah that sounds pretty sketchy I wouldn't do it insects should be enough. All I will say is they are carnivorous plants and eat insects only, which will provide all the nutrition the plant needs Ask yourself where would they get milk in the wild and there must be a reason Nurseries growing hundreds of these has not sacrificed just one for experiments I am willing to say this person tried Milk, killed the plant got bitter and posted something like that!! Just think about his statement, If his friend discovered a miracle way to make it grow faster, why would he only tell this person only instead of bragging to anyone who can hear him or read the posts? I admit I do not know everything on CP's but milk was a bad idea, what's next alcohol lol??
